Throughout his working life, he has been labeled a high flyer, typically he has been appointed as the youngest, the achiever among his peers, the one who has made money for himself and the enterprise. He is a Chairman in spirit and effect from his earliest business impact to this day.

It’s been more than a decade since he was instrumental in founding one of the most trend setting Companies listed on the JSE Stock Exchange. Under his leadership, he executed aggressive Company expansions into new territories, ensuring the emergence of a Multi-Billion ZAR Market Cap' Company.

He has the capacity to execute and lead aggressive Company expansions into new territories and the ability to form strategic alliances, identify & secure lucrative partnerships & sales distribution channels in diverse markets.

Making his first Million at age 23, and by age 25 he was the Founder/ Executive Chairman of a Leading Distribution Company of both Consumer and Financial Products/Services, with a national branch network, close to 2 Million Customers and with a R200 Million market cap - All in less than 5 years. 

Before the age 30, he merged Ferreira Group with Unibank Holdings and 5 fully owned Subsidiaries: Global, Constantia and Emerald Insurance Companies, Union Finance and Rubenstein Investments to form a Multi-Billion ZAR listed Company, with a client base consisting of over 3 Million, 2700 Employees and over 5 Billion Rand in loan advances.

ABSA  - Bought the entire Share Capital of UniFer in a Multi-Billion Rand transaction, the 2nd largest acquisition made by ABSA ever since the purchase of Bankfin and as a 100% Shareholder, ABSA delisted UniFer.  

Corne was approached by 4 COSATU unions, representing 850 000 black workers to negotiate the buyback of Ferreira Group.  In a Multi-Million Rand transaction he acquired Ferreira Group together with a Union Consortium as a 70% Shareholder. He then initiated a name change to - Lesaka Holdings and as Group MD of Lesaka he grew the net income with 300% over the first 18 months.

Currently, he is working as an Expert Consultant to Multi-Nationals, seeking to establish or expand on the African footprint. 

With 22 years experience as a Business Start-Up and Development Entrepreneur of both Listed and Privately owned large Organizations in South-Africa and across border.
